Alameda County Republican Central Committee



Objectives/Duties
- Support and promote Republican principles and platforms within Alameda County
- Register new Republicans and encourage all Republicans to vote in every election
- Campaign for election of Republican candidates; sustain and grow the county Republican campaign organization
- Bring new volunteers into the Republican Party
- Recruit Republican candidates
- Identify and work with other Republican and conservative organizations within the county for partnerships and coordinated activity
- Approve an annual political plan
- Support County Party fundraising activities by attending events and recruiting other donors
- Volunteer at events including booths at the Alameda County Fair, local fairs and festivals

Obligations
Dues:  Member- $52/year payable to Alameda County Republican Party
           Alternate-$26/year payable to Alameda County Republican Party

Attendance
-Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 PM at the County Headquarters, 1039 MacArthur Blvd., San Leandro, CA 94577
- Cannot miss 3 meetings in a row, 4 in one year without an alternate or 5 in one year regardless of having an alternate-otherwise, it shall be considered resigned

-Alternates: Each member is recommended to appoint one Alternate Member to represent them and vote in their absence at Central Committee meetings. Alternate members must reside in the Assembly District of the appointing member.

Elected Position
- County Party Central Committee members are elected by Republican voters every to two years in the primary election
- There are 6 elected Central Committee positions for each Assembly District (14th AD, 15th AD, 16th AD, 18th AD, 20th AD) for a total of 30 elected positions
- Members are elected by the County Party Central Committee to fill vacancies shall be called elected members
- The County Party is also comprised of Ex-Officio Members who received the nomination as the Republican candidate for Assembly, State Senate or Congress, provided that their district included part of Alameda County
