Pleasanton Councilwoman Speaks At June Central Committee Meeting
Pleasanton City Councilwoman, Kathy Narum, spoke at our June ACRP Central Committee Meeting this week. She discussed the recent successes and coming challenges for the City of Pleasanton. She spoke about regional issues affecting Tri Valley cities related to transit, housing and the workforce. Councilwoman Narum touted the cooperative efforts and tremendous support from Assemblywoman Catharine Baker in addressing our regional issues. She also discussed the coming challenges regarding unfunded pension liabilities and proactive measures the City is discussing to address CalPERS changes in future requirements.
