Alameda County Republican Party

Annual Organizational Meeting of Alameda County Republican Party Central Committee (ACRP).  This is an in-person meeting ONLY.   There will not be a Zoom link.

The agenda is mostly defined in By-Laws (See Members web pages).

No ordinary business occurs during this lengthy organizational meeting.

Key Points about Procedures (This is not a comprehensive list):

Voting Members encouraged to e-mail their self-nomination soon for an office to the Chairman.  A person from the floor must second that self-nomination.

Nominations allowed from floor (To shorten time, Voting Members encouraged to self-nominate for office before this meeting.)

To Vote, Members must pay their 2023 Dues ($52) by January 18 (Best: On-line donation and then e-mail Jeanne Solnordal that donation is intended for 2023 dues)

Voting during 2023 organizational meeting is by secret paper ballot in person.

Blank paper ballots, one ballot per office per Voting Member.

Speaking regimen:  Nominee 3 minutes, Nominator (if nominee not volunteered prior) 2 minutes, One or two others 1 minute each

Since ballots not trackable.  Voting Members submit folded ballot by roll call.   After roll call for an office, votes immediately counted for that office.

Executive Committee Offices being elected: Chair, Vice-Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Asst. Treasurer, Asst. Secretary

Assembly District Chairs, in break-out by their District, elected for: AD14, AD16, AD18, AD20, AD24
