You most likely noticed that there weren't any city council or school board seats up for election in the Primary -- that's because they are up this November. In the past 2020 November election, we had over 60 local seats that had NO Republicans running -- we cannot afford a repeat of that. With this in mind, we are excited to announce the Contra Costa Republican Party's first-ever local candidate recruitment luncheon.
If you or someone you know is potentially interested in running for local office this November, then attend this event. We will have a cadre of guest speakers that will discuss every part of a campaign from getting started to serving in a local office. Tickets are only $10 and includes lunch. Potential candidates register here: https://www.cocorepublicans.com/recruit
Your status as a Republican will not appear on the ballot, but we have Republicans elected all over the county. With the right candidates, with the well-run campaigns, we can win a lot of seats this year and make a serious difference in our community. We have all seen the power of our local governments in the last two years -- running and winning local offices is the best way to effect serious, lasting change.
This event is closed to the press. No video or audio recording permitted. We will NOT sell tickets at the door. You must purchase your admission (lunch included) prior to the event. You MUST be a registered Republican voter to attend.
